
Bruce Weiner, M.D., F.A.C.S.
General and Breast Surgery
Dr. Bruce Weiner is a board certified general surgeon, specializing
in the management and surgery of breast diseases. Dr. Weiner received
his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Rutgers
Medical School). His general surgery residency was at Mount Sinai
Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Weiner then completed a Breast
Fellowship at the prestigious Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
and his private practice has concentrated in the treatment of breast
disease.
Dr. Weiner is a fellow of the American Board of Surgery and is a
member of numerous surgical societies including the American Society
of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the
American Society of Breast Diseases.
Dr. Weiner is the medical director of the Montgomery Cancer Center,
an affiliate of the Jefferson Cancer Network. He is actively involved
in breast cancer research programs such as the Star Trial. Dr. Weiner
is one of the few breast surgeons performing minimally invasive stereotactic
breast biopsy (mammotome biopsy) and sentinel node technique of axillary
dissection. Dr. Weiner is a strong advocate for a woman’s choice
in the treatment of
breast cancer.
Dr. Weiner’s office hours are Monday 12-4:30pm, Wednesday 9-4:30pm,
and Friday 9-1:30pm. |
