Brett R. Horwitz, M.D.
Dr. Horwitz is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Temple University and received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, where he also did his internship. Dr. Horwitz completed his orthopaedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He is fellowship trained in sports medicine, specializing in sports related injuries, arthroscopic knee and shoulder reconstruction.

Dr. Horwitz's honors include being a recipient of the prestigious Charles Neer Award in shoulder surgery presented by the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in 1991. He has also served as professional sports consultant and physician for the Professional Golfers Association (PGA Tour), the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP Tour) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA Tour), and is a member of many national and local professional medical societies.
